Fall 2024 Case
Competition
This semester we will be hosting a case competition in collaboration with Questrom Professor Greg Stoller. The winning team will have the opportunity to represent Boston University in a national case competition in the Spring semester.
Timeline

Tuesday, October 15th: Applications Open

Friday, November 8th from 4:30 PM to 6:30 PM: Teams present for judges
Eligibility Requirements

All team members must be current undergraduate Boston University students.

There are no requirements for majors, or involvement with the BU Consulting Group.

Ideally candidates will be available, on-campus in the Spring semester to compete in the case competition with Professor Stoller, but it is not a requirement to compete.

You must be available to present in-person during the presentation window on November 8th.
Competition Format

Teams of 3-4 students ​will receive a case prompt regarding an international business problem a mock client is facing. Teams will then have one week to conduct research and develop a presentation detailing recommendations for the client.

Teams will then present their findings to the judges in the form of a 10 minute PowerPoint presentation, followed by 5 minutes of Q+A.

Judges will score each team and the winners will be announced at the end of the event.

How to Apply

Students can apply as either a complete team (either 3 or 4 students), or as a singular student looking to be placed with teammates.

Fill out the Qualtrics Form linked above by Monday, October 28th @ 11:59 PM to be considered.

Please note that if you are applying with a complete team, you only need to fill out the form one time for the entire team.
